The jailbreak was "fix this code" where it'd find the vulnerabilities and fix them, and that's why it's so hard to patch, because why would users use a model that might refuse to fix bugs it seems are vulnerabilities?
I guess they paid the extortion fee. I wonder how many Trump phones they had to buy.
